Vintage Seiko 5 — Matte Black Railway Dial, Red Seconds | Ref. 7009-3101 | Cal. 7009 | 38mm.
The orange hand is the whole watch.
A flat matte black dial — no gloss, no texture, deliberately light-swallowing — with two fine white circles drawn across it and the five-minute numerals printed between them in a railway chapter. Applied batons with aged cream lume sit outside the rings. Day and date framed at three. All of it quiet, all of it functional.
Inside, the calibre 7009 — 17 jewels, automatic, hacking seconds, one of the most serviceable and longest-living movements Seiko ever built. No battery. No charging. It runs on the swing of your arm and has been doing it since the late 1970s.
Thirty-eight millimetres of polished stainless steel with sharp faceted lugs, on a black leather strap with contrast stitching.
Fully serviced. Timegrapher-verified. 20+ hour power reserve.
One piece. ৳7,000. When it sells, the listing comes down.
