That small winged crest sitting at six o'clock is the Citizen Eagle 7 mark — a 1970s line Citizen built as its everyday hero, and one of the most quietly collectible vintage Japanese references you can still buy without a collector's premium. Most people walk past it. The ones who know stop and ask.

The dial is the real argument. A navy centre disc — deep, matte, almost ink — floating inside a brushed silver outer ring, the two halves split by a clean stepped edge. Where they meet, the light does something: silver catches, navy swallows. Then look at twelve and six. Faceted pyramid-cut markers, each one cut into tiny mirrored triangles that flash white when the watch moves. Nobody prints a dial with that much going on anymore, and nobody in 1974 was doing it this cleanly.
