The dial’s a bright silver-white with a fine diagonal pinstripe texture pressed across the whole face — raised lines that catch light and shift as your wrist moves. Gold pyramid-cut markers sit at the hours, gold dagger hands over the top, and the gold Seiko 5 crest under twelve, with day-date at three. It’s dressy, bright, and has far more going on than a flat white dial.

This runs the 7S36 — the 23-jewel sibling of the 7S26, with two extra jewels for a touch more refinement. No battery: winds off your wrist, 20-hour-plus reserve.
