Seiko 5 Automatic — Gold-Inlay Tank White Dial | Ref 4219-5250.
Round watches disappear into a crowd. This one doesn’t.
It’s a tank — a proper rectangular case — and Seiko framed the white center dial with a border of raised gold texture, hand-catching light like beaten metal. Diamond-cut markers at the corners. The gold Seiko 5 shield sitting just under twelve. Gold hands, gold accents, day-date tucked at three. It reads dressy from across a table and detailed up close.
This is late-’70s / ’80s Seiko in full flex — back when they built statement dress pieces, not just tool watches.
Inside runs the 4219 automatic, 23 jewels, winding off your wrist with no battery to ever chase. Held on the timegrapher before it earned its place here, with a 20-hour-plus reserve. The stretch bracelet slips on and off in a second — the kind of everyday-easy that made these the watch your uncle actually wore, not the one he left in a drawer.
We don’t sell “runs fine” as a hope. We service it, test it, and stand behind it.
